Breaking Up is Simple, Making Up is Harder to Do

by Alin Rowe

After break up time, most people find it so hard to make up because they are scared. They are frightened about the complexity of the relationship, and afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing---which could make things even worse. Some people say that breaking up and making up is one of the worst events that they can experience in their lives.
Most of the time, people start pleading and begging for another chance to get back together. First of all, as hard as it is to accept, please assume what the other partner wants is the breakup. Then, decide what you want to do from that decision.

What is your opinion of your spouse or partner?  Do you want some space from this relationship? Do you still love them? Can you see yourself with them in a year?  Do you think that there is someone better for you that really appreciates and understands you? Or do you feel like this person was “the one?”

In the meantime, this is a good time to rekindle any old friendships you had since  you were with your ex boyfriend or girlfriend. What do you like doing? Revive old hobbies and interests that you neglected since you were together. Get some perspective on your life. Is your life better or worse without you partner?
There are different things that you can do to try and win your ex back. For the most part, you need to give one another room to grow and reflect. This gives you a chance to clear your mind and really look at the relationship to see if being together is something that you want.

Relationships take effort from both sides. You both have to be willing to make it work or it just won't, simple as that. If you feel that there is love there, then that is a great reason to get back together and work it all out together. Sometimes you can get through things together, that is why communication is very important.

You need to be able to tell them how you feel and if there is love there, they will be willing to listen to you. Together, you can overcome anything that is hindering your relationship. Breaking up and making up is a difficult process, but in the long run it is worth it---if  you get back together.

Getting back together may be the best thing for the both of you. The main thing is to give one another some room for awhile, put it all into perspective, talk about it and see if it can be worked out and if it can, get back together and work it out.
